The synthetic nature of polyester provides several advantages over natural fibres. It is inherently hydrophobic, meaning it resists water and dries quickly, which is essential for items like teamwear shoe bags or outdoor backpacks. Furthermore, polyester retains its shape and colour exceptionally well, ensuring that your custom bags look professional even after extensive use. For those looking for specific brands, our range includes high-quality options from Bagbase and Bag Base.

Polyester is the industry standard for reliable, long-lasting accessories, and our current selection of 51 products showcases the very best in synthetic fabric technology. From lightweight 210D drawstring bags to heavy-duty 600D and 390 gr/m² recycled cotton-polyester blends, these items are built to withstand the rigours of daily use. This makes them a primary choice for business procurement and sports clubs across the UK.
Our polyester bags serve a wide array of purposes. For the education sector, our durable backpacks are perfect for back-to-school selection. If you are organising a corporate function, our sleek laptop bags and weekenders are ideal for event giveaways or as part of company welcome packs. We also offer specialised Bags Accessories to complement your main storage solutions.
Innovation in textiles has led to the rise of RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate). Many of our bags now feature recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles. These eco-friendly alternatives provide the same durability and aesthetic appeal as virgin polyester while supporting a circular economy. Whether you need a roll-top backpack for a modern urban look or a classic tote for retail, our polyester collection delivers unmatched versatility at wholesale scale.
FAQ
Why is polyester a preferred material for bulk bags?
Polyester is highly valued in the bag industry due to its exceptional durability, strength, and resistance to environmental factors. Unlike many natural fibres, polyester is resistant to shrinking, stretching, and wrinkling. Its hydrophobic properties mean it does not absorb moisture easily, making it resistant to mildew and ideal for sports or outdoor use. For bulk buyers, polyester offers a cost-effective solution that maintains its structural integrity and colour vibrancy over time, ensuring that promotional or retail products remain in excellent condition for the end-user.
Can polyester bags be easily customised with logos?
Yes, polyester is one of the best materials for various customisation techniques. Its smooth, consistent surface is ideal for screen printing, heat transfers, and high-density embroidery. Because polyester can withstand the heat required for certain printing processes, it allows for vibrant, long-lasting designs that won't easily fade or peel. Whether you are looking to create branded merchandise for a marketing agency or uniforms for a sports team, our polyester bags provide a stable and professional canvas for any logo or bespoke artwork.
What is the difference between standard polyester and RPET?
Standard polyester is a synthetic fibre derived from petroleum, whereas RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) is created by recycling existing plastic, such as water bottles. In terms of performance, RPET offers the same durability, water resistance, and strength as virgin polyester. The primary difference lies in the environmental footprint; RPET requires less energy to produce and diverts plastic waste from landfills. Many of our products, including the 600D RPET backpacks, utilise this sustainable material to provide eco-conscious options for modern businesses and organisations.
Are these polyester bags suitable for heavy-duty use?
Absolutely. Many of our polyester bags are constructed with high denier counts, such as 600D, which indicates a heavy-weight, thick fabric designed for rugged use. Features like reinforced corners, padded backs, and sturdy webbing handles further enhance their load-bearing capabilities. From carrying laptops and heavy textbooks to acting as a reliable sports duffle for gym gear, these bags are engineered to handle significant weight and daily wear. The inclusion of PU coatings on some models also adds an extra layer of water resistance and toughness for demanding environments.
