Contest Information
Who can join? Anyone who has an online shop with Wordans.com can join the contest. This is mandatory as all design entries will be available for sale in our design library. Every time your design is used you will receive a £1.50 commission. You can open a free shop anytime, it takes less than 5 minutes.
Voting Each design will have 30 days of voting and the winner will be announced the first business day of every month.
Example:
  • Your entry date was Sept 15th
  • Voting for your design will end Oct 14th
  • Winners will be announced Nov 1st
How are the winners chosen? Every month we will analyze the top 100 designs based on the overall score, comments, originality and quality. The winner is ultimately chosen by the Wordans staff based on the above scores and artwork originality and quality. Please note that paying or bribing people to vote for your design is discouraged. If we see that this is happening your design will be disqualified.
Reasons for Artwork Decline Make sure that you have followed all the instructions regarding file formats and sizes. If your submission is incomplete it will be automatically rejected. You can find other decline reasons here.
Printed Tees The winner of the contest gets 15 printed t-shirt in the style and brand of their choice. These t-shirts will be delivered approximately 15 days after the winner is announced.
Cash prize We pay the winner £300.00 via check 30 days after the the announcement.
Submission Instructions
After your artwork is created, save them in the following formats and complete the submission process.
Design file formats 1. The design file for display and print : 2500x2500 pixels at a minimum of 160dpi, under 5 MB. File format must be a transparent PNG.
2. The preview thumbnail : 160x160 pixels (jpg, png or gif) under 100KB. This is the image that will represent your design in the contest listing. You can choose to crop your design or put a coloured background on behind it. (examples)
